🖌️🐧 How to Set Up Theme On Arch-Based Linux (w/ my preferences)

Install AUR Helper (yay) and base-devel

AUR helper is needed to install additional packages

sudo pacman -Syu yay base-devel

Options:
-S: to install
-y: to auto-yes
-u: update installed packages
yay: to install AUR packages
base-devel: to compile packages

Install ocs-url

ocs-url is needed to fast install themes from gnome-look.org

yay -S ocs-url

Installing a Theme

Go to www.gnome-look.org and install the theme using ocs-url.

Go to Extensions, turn off “Legacy (GTK3) Theme Scheme Auto Switcher”

Go to Tweaks > Appearance, change the shell and legacy application

Go to Tweaks > Window Titlebars, change placement to Left

Dock Stuff

Right click Show Apps (start menu) > Dash to Dock Settings > Positition and size, set Dock size limit to 32

Right click Show Apps (start menu) > Dash to Dock Settings > Launchers, isolate workspaces

Right click Show Apps (start menu) > Dash to Dock Settings > Appearance, check Shrink the dash & opacity t
